Help protect your loved ones from the unexpected costs associated with your death

  • Take comfort from having Accidental Death cover of R50 000. This benefit is payable on death caused by accidental, violent, external and visible means.
  • In addition you have Death Benefit cover of R30 000, which is payable to your nominated beneficiary within 24 hours of submission of proof of death, together with a copy of the ID document of the policyholder.
  • 12 month waiting period
  • No medical requirements
  • The risk product provides Accidental Death benefit and Death benefit for the Principal Member only.
  • You must be between the ages of 16 and 70 at the commencement date of taking out your Assettron Cover product. Cover continues after the age of 70.
  • Your risk cover is provided by Centriq Insurance Company Ltd, a registered Short Term Insurance Company, and a registered Financial Services Provider FSP 7368
  • The monthly premium will increase by 5% per annum on the anniversary of the policy.

  • Specific exclusions apply as stated in the policy schedule that will be sent to you once your application has been successful.
  • The monthly premium will increase by 5% per annum on the anniversary of the policy.

  • The Metropolitan Odyssey Conservative Fund of Funds objective is to provide stable inflation-beating growth while maintaining a high level of income through investing in a combination of equities, bonds and cash portfolios.
  • Part of your monthly contribution will be invested in the Metropolitan Odyssey Conservative Fund of Funds which are generally medium to long term investments. The value of participating interests may go down as well as up and past performance is not necessarily a guide to the future.
  • This offers you a high degree of liquidity and capital protection.
  • Your funds are invested with Metropolitan Collective Investments Ltd. (Reg no 1991/003741/06), which is a member of the ASAIS and an authorised Financial Services Provider, FSP 510.
  • A schedule of fees and charges and maximum commissions is available from the manager/scheme. Commissions and incentives may be paid and if so, would be included in the overall costs
  • The premium will increase at 5% per annum on the anniversary of the product.
